Lebanon’s largest recycling and waste management exhibition and conference RAWMEC has been held in person from Wednesday June 26 2024 till Friday, June 28 2024 in the traditional venue of Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace and under the patronage and the presence of H.E. the Minister of Environment Dr. Nasser Yassin.
The great event RAWMEC is organized by Lebanon Expo, with the strong support of Replast, Bou Chalhoub Group, RokyPlast… With participation from various stakeholders including decision-makers, industry experts, innovators, private sector, investors and academia, RAWMEC provided impetus to sustainability initiatives in Lebanon and other regional countries. The event attracted by hundreds of experts from all around the world, with over 50 papers presented at each edition, making the RAWMEC one of the most important solid waste management conferences in the region.
The 2024 programme included 10 parallel tracks of oral sessions, workshops, active labs and other practical activities, discussion forums, poster presentations, business meetings, a commercial exhibition, outstanding networking opportunities and also the Energy Strategies Summit on day 3 covering Lebanese sustainable independence energy future.
During the 3 days of RAWMWC 2024 interseting topics are covered and well discussed with experts, speakers and guest tackling:
– Waste technologies (Innovative solutions for waste segregation, Waste sorting and separation systems, Composting machines, Equipment for processing organic waste)
– Waste management (Waste management services, Consulting in the field of optimization of waste collection and disposal processes, Waste tracking and monitoring systems)
